Magazine Name, Layout & Features.

After much collabaration of numerous names for my magazine. I came with the outcome of ''Entertain UK''. My reason for choosing this name, is based on the concept that my magazine is not just revolving around the idea of numerous Music Genres but also other forms of entertainment such as gaming and gossip, hence the Entertain. The 'UK' part of the title was brought in to emphasise the idea that it is a british magazine and will revolve around british entertainment and talent. With finally choosing my name, I have created a few designs which I may use as the magazine name.

Design 1:-

This design is very basic and visible and it also stands out very well, and seems to be one of the most likely ones I will choose to as my magazine name design.


Design 2:-




This design is clear and vibarant, but it is hard to see on a magazine cover.

Design 3:-

This design would be hard to see on a magazine, There is nothing special about it or makes you attracted to it.

This Magazine title seems a likely theme and title I could use, It has clear colours excluding the black. Perhaps with a bit of enhancing I may use this on my magazine.

This Magazine title is clear, but the colours seem off-putting and unlikely to be associated with an entertainment magazine.

Design 6:-

This design seems like a design, I could use on my magazine, with changing the colours slightly, it could become my magazine title.


Design 7:-




This title also seems like a clear and vibarant, but the text style seems a bit stiff. Perhaps if altered it could be used.


I have started to Edit and create my magazine pages.
I have started with creating the contents page, as I feel that If I can set the theme right on the contents page, I will be able to push forward and place the set themes I want on my double page spread and cover page.
I will be printing the process of manipulation Print Screens and placing them in my scrapbook. Along with the Full original and complete print.

I have created my contents page. And printed it off.
Every time their was a significant change in what I did, I had printed it off to show the developments I made during the creation of my contents page.
The final Contents page is in my scrapbook.

I have created my double page spread and have printed it off.
I have done many significant changes to this, and the print out will show what I have changed, improved and added.
The final double-page spread will be placed in to my scrapbook.

I have started to create my front cover and have printed off a few samples to show the development of it.
I will repeat the same process as I had done on the others.


I have completed my front cover, Contents Page & Double Page spread.
The changes I made, and my magazine comparing examples and the answers from the evaluation powerpoint, will be placed in to my final piece of a powerpoint presentation.
I will answer the questions, display what photos I used and edited and show how my magazine resembles closely to a regular magazine on the market.
